Description
This burl formed on a large branch on an apple tree in an orchard in Turner Maine, the tree had died, and a woodworking friend and I were given the o.k to harvest the tree for our projects. It is dark, heavy, buttery smooth to the touch, and very striking to look at. Will make a very nice centerpiece for a larger table, note the weight and dimensions.
