Fourteen Pound Maple

This Maple burl was found in Coburn Gore Maine. This was a gnarly burl with a lot of crust, I had to do some pinning with small dowels, and applied adhesives to make it stable, the end result is quite striking to look at. It will be a remarkable centerpiece, and no worries, the adhesives will hold up indefinitely.
