Yellow Birch Borer

This large burl was found in a clear cut on the Canadian border. I left the wall thick, the outside surface has holes from exiting wood boring insects, (all gone now) and the swirling grain patterns are beautiful. Will make an excellent fruit bowl, centerpiece. Nice, very nice!
